Unit Conversion Checker
Check common length, mass, volume, and time conversions.
Example: 2.5 m = 250 cm
How this checker works
Unit conversions work by moving through a consistent base unit. This checker supports common length, mass, volume, and time units. Enter the starting value, choose the original unit, choose the target unit, and enter the student’s converted answer. The checker confirms that the two units belong to the same measurement category, converts the value into a base unit, then converts from that base unit into the requested unit.
For example, meters and centimeters both belong to length, so they can be compared directly through meters. Cups and liters both belong to volume, so they can be compared through liters. If the units are incompatible, the checker asks you to choose a valid pair. The result shows the expected converted value with the target unit. For word problems with rates, mixed units, or written explanations, use the photo checker for full-page feedback.
